Grieshaber Logistik, headquartered in Weingarten, is an internationally operating logistics company with seven locations in Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia as well as a foreign subsidiary. Grieshaber Logistik runs several multi-user logistics centers with a total of over 160,000 sqm of warehouse space and a modern fleet of vehicles with over 130 towed units. With its nearly 700 employees, Grieshaber Logistik covers the entire range of modern forwarding services and offers its customers a large package of individual industry solutions for contract logistics.

Expert view from the outside

To secure its market position in the long term and to continue to align its service portfolio and own processes perfectly with changing framework conditions and customer requirements, Grieshaber Logistik wanted a professional evaluation of its own company and commissioned TransCare with a corporate audit of the national trucking company.
TransCare first analyzed the status quo and examined i. a. business processes, organizational structure, competitive situation, cost structure, proUntfit contribution, customer portfolio, location differences, capacity utilization as well as specifics and performance of the individual business units.

Pinpointing optimization potentials

Based on the analysis phase, TransCare identified optimization, growth and cost reduction potentials and developed clear strategy recommendations as well as concrete measures for their realization. The audit results were presented to the management and the supervisory board in a workshop and discussed jointly.
