Overcoming cultural differences

Based on the findings of previous projects where TransCare audited the business processes, defined improvements and calculated the respective benefits, RTT and TransCare decided to make the next step on that path: Implementation! Therefore a common project team both of RTT and TransCare staff was set up. The focus of their 8 months project was short-haul optimization, transshipment re-organization and long-haul redesign. Understanding cultural differences and adapting European best practices according to the client’s requirements was of key importance. A close communication and working atmosphere was paramount to the success of this project.
