DVZ – New structures in CT

High potential – but also many challenges

Ralf Jahncke described the flat claim that “goods belong on the railroads” as “stupid, arrogant and misleading” during the DVZ conference on combined transport in Hamburg. According to the TransCare Managing Director, growth in CT is not possible in this way, but primarily through new structures with vertical integration. The entire process chain must be kept in view. He called for the following immediate measures: Stop the dismantling of track facilities immediately. Investment aid for depots and buffer areas. In addition, vehicles should be exempt from tolls for pre- and on-carriage and semi-trailers should only be built to be canable. The expert audience followed the views of the CT expert, who once again set trends in the CT market.
