Holistic optimization and digitization of site logistics.

The logistics consulting company TransCare GmbH and leogistics GmbH, global SAP logistics partner in the field of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) with a specialization in Transportation Management, Warehouse Management and Yard Management, are launching a strategic cooperation at the 35th German Logistics Congress. The goal: to offer customers a holistic optimization of location, hub, port and rail logistics. To achieve this, both companies are combining their strengths in this area. While TransCare focuses on infrastructure planning and optimization of transport routes, including the local rail network, as well as costs and processes, leogistics advises on the digitization of logistics processes, including the use of new technologies. In addition, leogistics helps to realize innovations such as IoT (Internet of Things) applications.

Combine strengths – complement portfolio

For over 25 years, TransCare has been successfully supporting companies and public sector clients in matters of strategic development and reorientation with a focus on transportation and logistics. The international consulting firm has expertise in location, hub, port and rail logistics with a focus on cost, infrastructure and process optimization.

leogistics supplements its partner in the sector of technology and solutions with know-how in IT modernization, process standardization, innovation adaptation and digitization. For example, leogistics offers process, application and technology expertise in all SAP logistics areas with its own SAP-based solutions for optimizing and digitizing operational logistics processes as well as own SAP-based standard solutions in special areas, including port and rail logistics. Fast location analysis

Working together, the partners can provide rapid site analysis: TransCare examines potentials in infrastructure optimization (e.g. track areas, run-offs, hardware), process flows, workforce scheduling and cost structure and shows approaches to improve efficiency. leogistics performs the analysis of IT support and shows possibilities of process harmonization, process automation and digitization. Afterwards, the potentials are assessed together, an optimization case and an introductory roadmap are created.

First joint appearance

Auf dem Deutschen Logistik-Kongress 2018 vom 17. bis 19. Oktober in Berlin werden beide Unternehmen erstmals zusammen auftreten: An den Ständen L03 und L04 stehen Experten von leogistics und TransCare für Gespräche rund um die ganzheitliche Optimierung und Digitalisierung der Standortlogistik zur Verfügung.
Both companies will make their first joint appearance at the German Logistics Congress 2018 from October 17 to 19 in Berlin. Experts from leogistics and TransCare will be available for talks on the holistic optimization and digitization of site logistics at their neighbouring boths L03 and L04.
