Company Succession – Sale of a medium-sized logistics company
Ibele Logistik, based in Wilhelmsdorf, Baden-Württemberg, was founded in 1957. The logistics company with its own vehicle fleet is mainly active in the volume business.
Company succession due to retirement
For reasons of age, the owner wanted a succession solution and mandated TransCare to manage the sale of the company.
Identification of suitable investors
TransCare prepared a company dossier, a financial medium-term plan and a company valuation. Potential interested parties were identified, contacted and looked after. TransCare was responsible for the structuring, moderation and advisory support of the contract negotiations until their successful conclusion within 8 months.
Acquisition by Reining Transport
With effect as of September 1, 2019, the Dutch company Reining Transport acquired the volume transport activities of Ibele Logistik, including customer sales, assets and employees. The Dutch company thus gains its third German location and strengthens its volume transport division in Southern Germany.
